Thank God for Republican’s. When they’re not saying something that pisses me off, they do something hypocritical (maybe even human) that brings tears to my eyes. I warn you, if you have a sick sense of humor, the last line of this story will bring you to tears…as it did me. CJ

Not to pile on with the news about McCain’s imploding campaign and Republican sex scandals, but here’s the best of both worlds:
Florida Rep. Robert "Bob" Allen, R-Merritt Island, was arrested this afternoon at Veteran’s Memorial Park on East Broad Street for solicitation for prostitution…
According to police, the park was under surveillance today by a detail of undercover Titusville Police officers. Officers noticed Allen acting suspicious as he went in and out of the men’s restroom three times. Minutes later, he solicited an undercover male officer inside the restroom, offering to perform oral sex for $20…
Allen was planning to serve as a House co-chair for Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign.
No word if this incident had any role in John McCain’s disavowal of "gay sweaters."
Meanwhile, Allen has called the situation a "very big misunderstanding." I’m all in favor of innocent until proven guilty, but where’s the room for misunderstanding "I’ll give you $20 if you let me give you a BJ?"
