Maybe it’s just me

Whenever I hear John Edwards speak, I’m can’t help but think of Dr. Jeffrey Pelt. 

Who is Dr. Pelt?

Dr. Pelt was a character in the movie The Hunt for Red October.  He was the President’s National Security Adviser.  The line I’m referring to goes like this, "Listen, I’m a politician which means I’m a cheat and a liar, and when I’m not kissing babies, I’m stealing their lollipops."

Am I alone here in this assessment of John Edwards?
