So while not the an ideal Friday night, it has been a night full of laughs as I've been catching up on my political reading.
1. The first laugh, a visit to Sarah Palin's Facebook page. Seriously, you want a good laugh, go to her political FB page and read the posts by the people who believe anything that idiot says. I'm sorry, I'm just tired of skirting around the issue. Every time she opens her mouth she says something wrong, and yet people stand, cheer and root her on. And that's what's so funny about her FB page!
2. The second laugh, a reminder that 204 GOP House members and 42 GOP Senators voted for and passed the 2003 Medicare prescription bill, which provided funding for, wait for it….counseling
for end-of-life issues and care. Sound familiar? Heard of the so-called "Death Panel" Palin & company are yapping about?

3. And finally, reading all the stories praising a "win" for Palin as the "Death Panel" language has been removed thanks in part to her effort in spreading the word. Um, yeah…Congress is in recess…so nothing has been removed from…anything!
But, there she is claiming victory…and being praised for it.
All this and not a drop of alcohol tonight. Good times…good laughs.
