Repartee Room

Go forth and be witty!

A place to…Converse…Be Witty…AND…R-E-S-I-S-T!

We're only four days into Pride month and the anti-gay rhetoric by those who pretend to be Christian/Good Americans has already been ratched up a notch.

Here are two examples…

Let’s start with Satan’s favorite son Bill O’Reilly, who recently had a "discussion" on his show with fellow Fox analyst Jane Skinner about a French McDonald's ad that features a young guy talking to his "friend" on the phone. (See video below)

The ad is a part of McDonald's “Come as You Are” campaign, and O'Reilly and his sidekick were "discussing" why McDonald's would produce such an ad. During the chat O’Reilly dryly asks, “Does that make you hungry to watch that?” Really? Hungry for what you insufferable….

Towards the end of the “discussion” O’Reilly and Skinner briefly talk about the idea behind the McDonald's “Come as You Are” campaign, which Skinner brands “over reaching.” O'Reilly takes it a step further by asking, “Do they have an Al Qaeda ad…Come as You Are.” And as he is asking this incredible question, he makes a somewhat subtle “explosion” sound.

Gay and human rights groups have jumped all over O’Reilly demanding that he apologize for equating gays with Al Qaeda. Was that his intent, I don’t think so. But the mere fact that he thought it was an appropriate thing to say calls into question….oh wait, It’s Bill O’Reilly. There is no questioning what that idiot says or thinks, now is there?

Why he and/or Fox felt the need to comment on the ad in the first place is beyond my comprehension. But it did present him with the opportunity to boldly predict the ad would never be run in the USA. Sadly, given how many brainless idiots watch his show and hang on his every word…I’d be surprised if an ad like that (one that doesn’t break any laws,  showcases a father and son spending time together and possible young love) would run here in the land of the…free.

Next we have Utah Senator Orrin Hatch, who when he takes his medication seems to be an OK guy.  However, whenever he misses just one dose he’s just another idiot sucking up good oxygen.

Yesterday while giving a speech at Dixie State University, Hatch said, "Gays and lesbians don't pay tithing, their religion is politics." Now, far be it for me to question the morals of a moron, er, Mormon (I really need to stop doing that), but Senator why don’t you take you thoughts and stick them in a Mormon compound somewhere.  It’s just a thought…a suggestion really.

Again, we're only four days into Pride month.  This…should be…fun.
