CJ's 2010 Lists – Top 10 Songs of 2010 — #3
You know the drill…over the next 3 days, I'm posting my top songs of 2010.
As a reminder — the criteria for my selections are basted on three simple facts…
1. How many months did a song make it to my monthly iPhone playlist;
2. How many plays does it have in my iTunes;
3. The song must have been released no later than October of the previous year.
Here's the countdown thus far…
10. Kelly Rowland (feat. David Guetta) 'Commander'
9. Train 'Hey, Soul Sister'
8. Alex Cornish 'Don't Hold Me Back' & Christina Aguilera 'Bound to You'
7. Bastien Laval 'Restlessness (Wendel Kos edit)
6. Rihanna 'Hard' & 'Only Girl in the World'
5. Shontelle 'Impossible (Riddler remix)'
4. Lady Gaga 'Alejandro'
The countdown continues…
"Have you heard that weird song that sounds…" if you were asking that question of someone who listens to BPM, you didn't have to finish that sentence.
The song is unique, and in this day and age that's quite refreshing. There are literally dozens of versions of the song and quite frankly most of them are good, the original included. I prefer the Molella Radio Edit which is the version you tend to hear the most.
Song number 3 on the countdown is 'Stereo Love' by Romanian musician Edward Maya (feat.Vika Jigulina)
