Once again I've had a blast listing my favorite songs of the year. The comments are always fun, even the not so nice ones, of which there really aren't many.
People have different tastes in music. I accept and appreciate that because it's one of those great things that makes us all unique individuals.
As promised, here are a few of the comments I've received this year…
Bobby (MD) – 'It's weird but kinda funny that your top 10 list has more than 10 songs. I wish you would have listed at least one hip-hop song. Maybe you're saving it for your top 5?'
Glenda (WI) – 'I love every song on the list except for Train. That song just annoys me haha!'
Shae (Tauranga, New Zealand) – 'Your list is cool. I only know a few of the songs, but I like the way you write a little bit about each song. Are the people you mention sometimes really your friends though?' (Yes Shae, they are! 🙂
Roger (CT) – 'Do you listen to the radio a lot? From your Twitter posts it always seems like you're listening to your iphone.' (I don't listen to broadcast radio much. Maybe once or twice a month to stay on top of what songs are out. The rest of the time I listen to various Internet radio stations via Satellite radio.)
Thank you! Thank you! for all the comments.
With tomorrow being the last day of the year and the day I list my top song of 2010, I thought I'd drop a few songs that didn't make the list, but were favorites at one time or another during the year. (What were some of your top songs of 2010?)
M'Black – 'Heartbreak'
Jay-Z (feat. Alicia Keys) – 'Empire State of Mind' (for Johnny No.5 🙂
Maniacalm (feat. Lala) – 'Never Forget You'
Kelis – 'Acapella'
David Guetta (feat. Wynter Gordon) – 'Toyfriend'
