A place to…Converse…Be Witty…AND…R-E-S-I-S-T!

I’m talked out. It’s time for numbers, even better, numbers in the form of pictures from credible sources (the Congressional Budget Office – a nonpartisan agency that provides economic data to Congress and the  Center on Budget and Policy Priorities – a non-partisan research and policy institute working on federal and state fiscal policies and public programs that affect low- and moderate-income Americans) to debunk the myths being circulated daily by the Republican candidates running for President and the Team Party members who are holding Congress hostage with their childish behavior.

What ever side of the aisle you fall on is fine, because quite frankly both sides currently stink. But one side has been lying to the American people for 2 years now, as they try desperately to disown the the 8 years between 2001 and 2008 and blame them on the current administration with it’s ‘failed’ stimulus (failed in the sense that it prevent a massive recession) and it’s big government healthcare, or as they deem it ‘Obamacare’ which they all claim is the reason the deficit is so inflamed.

Take a gander at the chart below. As you will see, they have good reason to want to put the blame elsewhere…
