Back to the countdown…
There are songs that speak to you and then there are songs like Adele’s Someone Like You (song #7), which speak for you. When a song is number 1 or number 2 in more than 20 countries, it really is that damn good. That’s just how much this song has connected with people. And if you’ve ever had your heart broken, chances are this song spoke to you. Let’s face it, when it comes to heartache, music is always the savior in the end. At least it has been for me.
It’s been quite a year for this lovely songstress. Her album ‘21’ is up for six Grammy nominations, and it is adored by millions. Sadly she has been dealing with a throat issue that caused her to cut short her tour this year in favor of surgery, that will hopefully correct the issue.
We wish her well and a speedy recovery, as it would be a shame if she weren’t able to participate in a night that is well deserved.
