Who Runs the World?

First, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas AND that Santa was good to you all. Second, an apology. I never got to post this weekend as promised due to extensive holiday festivities. I will however begin to post some of the comments I’ve received this year beginning tomorrow with song number 5.

When I first heard this song, I called it a mess. I was displeased with the fact that it was clearly a flashy dance tune unworthy of her talents. Obviously the song grew on me.

Over the years, this artist has amazed us with her range and style. She is easily one of the most beautiful women on the planet, and her talent is just as impressive. Call me sentimental, but my feelings towards this song officially began to change when she performed it during Oprah’s spectacular finale.

I still say she shouldn’t have to resort to releasing catchy dance tunes, but I also won’t deny how incredibly hot this video is. And let’s face it, the song does have a point. Queen Elizabeth II, Chancellor Merkel, Michelle Obama, Oprah, Gaga…this list could go on for days!!!
