Victor, be patient :).

Thanks, Janet. Love, love, love them!

Thanks a bunch Adam!
- Fellow Monster where is Mother Monster? Gwendolyn G.
Gwendolyn, fear not. Mother Monster will make an appearance soon. I promise!
- Are there songs that you leave off or do you try to get all of your favorite songs in? Mady F.
Mady, I try to get as many songs in as possible. But I also was the countdown to showcase the songs I liked the most during the year.
More tomorrow…and thank you all for your comments and questions. I REALLY appreciate them!!
Here’s a recap of songs 6-10…
10. Til The World Ends – Britney Spears
9. Pumped Up Kicks – Foster the People
Indestructible – Robyn
Rolling in the Deep – Adele
8. What A Feeling – Alex Gaudino featuring Kelly Rowland
7. Someone Like You – Adele
6. Run the World (Girls) – Beyonce
On to the top 5 (plus 1)…
We kick of the top five with the final tie of 2011. One of these songs has been on my monthly playlist since September. The other has been my main ringtone since May of this year and has appeared on my monthly playlist.
This song seems to have touched a nerve with anyone who has actually listened to the lyrics of the song. In a world dominated about money, this song is simply trying to make the world dance.
Written by Jessica Cornish, the song is upbeat and contains a beat that can only be described as contagious, for once you hear it, you can’t help but shimmy.
As for Ms. Cornish, you probably know her best as Jessie J. Her song Price Tag is the first of our number 5 songs….
Next up is a countdown repeat offender that is going to cause me nothing but trouble! But I have to admit, once this song got into my head there was no getting rid of it. It’s been a very long time that this little lady has gotten to me the way she has, but as this was a year in which I totally re-embraced dance music, this song…and several of its tracks just hit me at the right time.
I won’t lie, the video for the song most certainly helped. From the opening press conference to the ending homage to ‘Thriller’ it was just a fun to watch, and you can do so here.
The version of the song that I like most is the second number 5 song on the countdown. Here is Britney Spears with I Wanna Go (Sex Ray Vision Remix)…
