President Obama and the Fight for LGBT Rights

Every time I hear a gay Republican utter the phrase, “Mitt Romney is exactly where Obama was 4 years ago when he ran for President,” I can’t help but think, thanks for pointing that out…dumbass. So in addition to going back to the failed economic policies of the past, you also want to erase all progress that has been made for the LGBT community in the past four years.

Genius I tell ya.

Don’t get me wrong…I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…POTUS has a LOT more work to do to bring equality to all. But just as Rome wasn’t built in a day, changing the minds and laws that prevent equality for all can’t happen overnight.
