The countdown continues….

Combined, the next two songs spent a total of 10 months on my monthly playlists this year. They are by a duo who I have long loved and admired – individually, and their collaborations have been fantastic.

He is a world-renown DJ, known for collaborating with some of the top voices in the world over the past 5 years. Two of those collaborations topped my yearly countdown in previous years, so when I say I’m a fan…I’m serious!

She is a power singer who I have a hard time getting a read on. Those who I know LOVE music as I do, tend to know of her and love her. Others are a bit less unsure, until you trot out this little bit of Trivial Pursuit knowledge – her song “Breathe Me” was used in the final montage for the HBO series, “Six Feet Under,” to which people usually say, “I love that song!!!” I cannot tell a lie, that was the first time I heard her sing as well, and I’ve been a fan ever since.

Songs number 4 on my top songs of 2012 are the amazing collaborations by David Guetta and Sia – “Titanium” and “She Wolf (Falling to Pieces).”
