Yes, yes, the long-awaited playlist has been finalized. My initial thought was to make the Top Songs of 2012 the Playlist for the month, but that didn’t seem to fly with some of you. So here is an expanded list that features many of my top 2012 songs as well as a fresh batch of newbies and of course a few oldies but goodies.
Brand new to the list are first timers Mumford & Sons with “I Will Wait” (wasn’t that a Hootie & the Blowfish song?) and Phillip Phillips with “Home.” Calvin Harris returns to the list with his awesome collaboration with Florence Welch “Sweet Nothing.”
Oldies but goodies sprinkled throughout the list include Tonic’s “If You Could Only See,” Yaz “Only You,” a timeless classic from Squeeze and two classics from Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD).
Thanks for your continued interest in my music selections and for reading my Blog!
