Happy February!!
This month, I’ve gone back to my music roots. I know my playlists are generally filled with Pop and Dance music, but that’s mostly because I create my lists for my commute and that’s what helps get me going to and from work. However, my true music loves are New Wave and Alternative/Punk Rock. I’ve been on an Alternative/Punk Rock high of late, so this months list features a ton of newbies including The Dresden Dolls and their “dark cabaret” sound, Two Door Cinema, Passion Pit and Paradise Fears…and the classic sounds of The Cure, Siouxsie And The Banshees and a rediscovered classic from Blur. Mixed in-between are the folk rock sounds of Of Monsters and Men and Mumford & Sons and a new alternative rock tune from Linkin Park a new pop song from Dido, and a new ballad/duet from Christina Aguilera & Blake Shelton.
As always, you can subscribe and/or listen to this month’s playlist through Spotify by clicking – here.
Enjoy the music, and thanks for reading and sending me your comments!
