Top Songs of 2013 – #9

I forgot to say thanks yesterday for all the emails regarding songs 20-11. Some were rather colorful but thankfully I like colorful. Hopefully as the countdown goes on, some of you will be feel better. Remember those were only the bottom 10 songs of the year. We still have 9 songs to go. (Hint, hint)

The countdown continues…

Song number nine marked to the return of an artist who burst out into the music world in 2010 with her fantastic album Lights. She has a distinct voice with a range that is quite spectacular. He breakout hit “Lights” reached number 2 on the billboard charts, and was only the beginning of whats to come.

Song #9 was the lead track from her reissued/expanded album Halcyon Days and hit number 1 on the UK singles chart this year.
