CJ’s iPhone Playlist – April 2014

OK, OK…I know it’s late and I’m sorry. It’s been a crazy couple of weeks, and I just haven’t had time to sit down and put together a full list….until now.

Since I’m “sooooooo late” with the list, according to Jordan that is, I’ll try to keep the introduction short so we can just get to the music.

This months list (try saying that fast) is all about guilty pleasures (songs other turn a nose to, but I love), repeat offenders (songs that at one time were on constant repeat) and finally, some amazing newbies all brought to me by my sister, Ei, who makes sure I keep it real when it comes to music…and life. Love you!!

First the newbies — all which are first timers on the list — Paramore (Ain’t it Fun), Tove Lo (Habits, “Stay High”) , MS MR (Think of You) and Bad Suns (Cardiac Arrest). Four outstanding songs that one day I’m sure will easily find themselves on a similar list as “repeat offenders.”

The guilty pleasures/repeat offenders on the list this month run the musical gauntlet — Information Society (What’s on Your Mind, “Pure Energy”), Duran Duran (All She Wants Is), Garbage (Special), Bush (Machinehead), Madonna (Give it 2 Me), Prince (7), Dishwalla (Counting Blue Cars, “Tell Me Your Thoughts on God), Kiss (Beth), The Smiths (How Soon is Now), The Cure (Close to Me), Sia (Titanuim) and Deborah Cox (Starting with You).
