Holy where did the year go Batman?? Its December…really?!?!
As I try to wrap my head around the fact that the year is almost over, I present to you the final playlist of 2014. And it’s jammed packed — 42 songs in total, including some of my holiday favorites of all-time.
While large, there aren’t many newbies to the list this month. It’s more of a best of 2014 sprinkled with my flare of oldies but goodies. Finding it’s way on the list for the first time — Charli XCX’s Boom Clap, David Guetta’s collaboration with Emeli Sande What I Did For Love and Calvin Harris and John Newman’s – Blame. “Oldies” fiding their way on the list include Black or White, Ordinary World, Home, Chains of Love, Some Nights, Speechless and Titanium. Sprinkled through the list are quite a few of the songs that will no doubt appear on the year end countdown, which will begin on Sunday, December 21st!
Several of you have already started emailing your guesses as to what song will top my countdown this year. While I haven’t completed the tally as of yet, I can say several of you are on point. And yes…I’m keeping my promise to do a true Top 10 songs of 2014!
