Back to the countdown.

This artist was clearly the breakout star of 2014. It was impossible to turn on the radio, TV, or any streaming service, without hearing his mesmerizing and soulful voice.

His talent combined with his breathtakingly gorgeous looks, make him irresistible. And while it maybe a tad early to make this declaration, I think it’s safe to say he is well on his way to becoming this generations version of…Barry White.

While all of his songs have become quite popular, the one that comes in at #7 is the first song I feel in love with off of his debut album. The song first appeared on my monthly playlist in August, and while it only appeared on the countdown for two months, it has amassed a large number of plays, which is how it landed in the Top 10.

Song #7 for 2014 is Sam Smith’s “I’m Not The Only One.”
