“The polls [many showing him to be in second place for the GOP nomination in many States] are testament, you see what’s happening, and now they say I’m going even higher. So I think the polls – the country is fed up.” #TheTool [Donald Trump] yesterday, doubling down on his racist remarks on immigration. Anyone else realize most of that statement doesn’t make a lick of sense?
Congratulations, GOP. You’re THISCLOSE to making a complete moron the [temporary] front runner for your party’s nomination for President of the United States. Oh how Mr. Lincoln must be proud.
Now granted, when the time comes and the election becomes serious, #TheTool will be a thing of the past. At least that’s what the GOP is hoping. But what about the damage he’s doing now? Every day he doubles down on his “beliefs” regarding Mexican immigrants, sounding more and more like a white southern man from the 1960’s talking about “the blacks.” It’s really and truly disgusting, but also telling. For the past six and a half years, many of us have been talking about the increasing use of derogatory and racist language being used out in the open. Most of if hurled towards the President of the United States. People have pushed back to say that’s not true, but yet a man without an ounce of experience in anything other than making money and a fool of himself, has leaped forward in the early stages of the race for the GOP nomination for President of the United States. If you want to think this is a coincidence, you are of course free to do so, but please message me about a prime piece of realty I have for sale in Brooklyn, NY. It’s a beautiful bridge that connects Brooklyn to Manhattan, and it’s yours…if the price is right.
Finally, to the members of the media. Can you please stop calling #TheTool’s [Donald Trump] remarks “controversial?” There’s no controversy surrounding them. They are what they are –ignorant and racist. Period.
The more you dance around that fact, the more legitimacy you give that bombastic moron.
