A New Wave 90s Dance Party (CJ’s iphone Playlist & 500th Blog Post!)

On this my 500th post, I’d really like to thank everyone who visits my little corner of the Internet.

Being able to share my love of music and views on topical issues/things that I’m passionate about, and get feedback, is incredibly wonderful. There are a lot of things about the internet that are bad, but there are just as many good things.

So, if you recall, last month I shifted things up a bit, thanks in part to some great feedback. The response to the “new format” for the playlist was overwhelming. So, onward we go.

Last month I announcement the August playlist would feature New Wave favorites. And it does. However, as I was building the list, I decided to make it a bit more fun.

The final result is a playlist of tracks from two of my favorite genres — New Wave and 90s Dance including a heavy infusion of 90s Divas Dance music, featuring the likes of Whitney Houston, Deborah Cox, CeCe Peniston, Ultra Nate, Jennifer Lopez, Crystal Waters and Madonna.

On the New Wave side, tracks include Black Coffee in Bed, Cars, Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), Our House, Shout, Blister in the Sun, Master and Servant, Relax Hungry Like the Wolf, Tenderness and I Know What Boys Want.
