The email “scandal” that clearly isn’t a “scandal” but is a “scandal” because it’s attached to Hillary Clinton, is a complete and total embarrassment.
Yes, to Mrs. Clinton who really should have known better (hi, this is “Whitewater,” remember me?), but more to the country as a whole.
We’re coming upon close to 3 years since Mrs. Clinton served as Secretary of State. In that time, none of her classified documents have ever been leaked. To our knowledge, her “unsecured” server was never hacked by Edward Snowden or anyone else who has not only been able to hack government data servers in recent years, but leak the information from those servers as well.
So let’s call a spade a spade. This is about Hillary Clinton, plain and simple.
Now, maybe this is a mistake dumb enough to cost her the White House. I guess time will tell, because we’re clearly going to continue fixate on this “scandal” ad nauseam.
But I can’t be the only person who wishes Congress AND the media, both which act like an oversexed teenage boy anytime the words “scandal” and “Clinton” are mentioned in the same breath, paid THIS much attention when Dick Cheney and President George Bush provided the country with inaccurate and false data, which led to the deaths of thousands of US soldiers and the birth of Isis.
But let’s continue to pretend that the Clinton email “scandal” merits more attention than the invasion of a country did.
Because apparently this is who we are now — a country that fixates on a “scandal” that really isn’t a “scandal” all the while Donald Trump is parading around as a leading candidate for President of the United States.
What. The. Actual F**k!?
