There are no absolutes..except for the KKK

Not every police officer is racist.

Not every police officer is a hero.

Last week, Dallas Police Officers shielded the public when bullets started flying last week.

Last night, Minnesota Police Officers walked off the job during a press conference about racial profiling.

So I have to ask — if we can’t even have an honest, yet difficult conversation about race…how is anything ever going to change?

I have long been in favor of an ‪#‎AllLivesMatter‬ movement because I believe the time has come for us as a society to move beyond color and realize that we’re all human beings that need to coexist.

That doesn’t mean I don’t support ‪#‎BlackLivesMatter‬. Just as all police officers aren’t racist, neither is everyone associated with this organization.

How long are we going to allow OUR country to continue to slide backwards before we take a stand and work together to make things better?

For years, the KKK has been hiding in the shadows where they belong. They see an opening now…and they’re trying to take advantage of it.

Please…let’s not let this happen.
