And now….the countdown continues!

So, while its not really a secret, I must confess, I have many music collaborators. If you recall, this year’s May playlist was done with the help of my friend Cody Viers, who has as broad a range of music tastes of anyone I know!

My other main collaborator is my good friend, Eileen, who on any given day will email or text me Shazam links to songs she likes and has I feeling I will like as well. She has a near 100% track record on the music she sends me, and many of her suggested songs, end up on the monthly playlist.

This year, two of her songs have found their way onto the year-end countdown. The first one comes in at #8.

To say I fell in love with this song instantly, would be an understatement. If you are a lover of 80’s New Wave, then it’s impossible not to love this song. Upon hearing it at first, I was certain I knew the song. Of course I didn’t, but because the sound was so familiar, it quickly became a favorite. The song made its debut on the monthly playlist in April, and remained a mainstay for six months. Yes…I really loved this song!
