The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee voted 8–7 along party lines to hold Dr. Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress for allegedly refusing to answer questions about his role during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Clown Chairman Rand Paul plans to bypass a full Senate vote, which would fail as it would require Democratic support, and refer the matter directly to the Justice Department.
Cue the clown music.
