Once upon a time, on Earth 2, a small but loud group of people praised a man they had chosen as their hero. They celebrated his every word, defended his every action, and dismissed anyone who dared question him.
The sad part was that many of them knew the truth. They saw the cruelty, the dishonesty, and the damage he caused. But the truth mattered less than how he made them feel. He validated their anger, confirmed their prejudices, and told them that the way they saw the world was right.
And so, on Earth 2, they didn’t follow him because they didn’t know better.
They followed him because knowing better no longer mattered.
